Bruce Davidson has been working with Insurance and Risk Management for over 35 years. After ten years in commercial banking, Bruce entered the world of insurance sales in 1987. He founded Davidson & Associates Insurance, a Vancouver, Washington based independent insurance agency, in 1990.

Bruce’s insurance practice has been focused on working with locally owned and operated businesses. He has been able to work with a variety of industries in the ever evolving world of risk management.

At the beginning of 2019, Bruce took the final step in a long term succession plan that involved transferring ownership of the agency to a new generation of owners. This transfer assured that the agency would remain a locally owned and operated business. He continues to be involved in the agency, with a focus on business owners and their succession related needs.

Bruce has been designated as a Certificated Insurance Counselor for over 20 years. He has served on Safeco Insurance Company’s National and Regional Agent Advisory Councils. Bruce has been involved in his community in a variety of ways. He is a Past President of the Rotary Club of Vancouver, past Board member and chair of the Clark College Foundation and member of The Historic Trust advisory board.

Since 2013, Davidson & Associates Insurance has been only of three Washington based agencies to be designated annually as a Best Practices Agency by the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America.
