As a Private Wealth Advisor Managing Director, Chad leads a team of banking professionals who are responsible for providing comprehensive wealth management strategies tailored to their clients’ specific needs. These strategies encompass Investment Management, Private Banking, Trust and Estate Services, and Wealth Planning. Chad takes the time to understand his clients’ unique needs, and he directs teams of specialists — often working closely with other client advisors, such as attorneys and accountants — to provide services that help clients work toward their goals.

Chad is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor guiding successful entrepreneurs and wealthy families through strategic and financial exits of their privately held companies. With significant experience regarding liquidation events, mergers & acquisitions and exit strategy, Chad is one of the few wealth managers that truly specializes in taking business owners comfortably through the “Owner to Investor” transition.

Chad began his career in the banking and financial services industry in 1991. Prior to joining U.S. Bank Private Wealth Management, Chad worked as a Senior Director and Vice President at BNY Mellon Wealth Management. His professional background includes owning and operating a registered investment advisory firm, consulting with business owners on transition planning and managing a fully diversified financial services firm.

Chad is an active member of his community, and has served on the board for Seattle Pacific University’s President’s Parent Council as well as Tahoma School District Parent advisory board. He also served as the past executive officer and treasurer of the Bellevue College Foundation. Chad continues to serve on the Bellevue College Foundation Finance Committee as well as its board of directors. He currently is a member of the Exit Planning Institute (EPI) and the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG).

Chad resides in Maple Valley. When he is not at work, he enjoys playing tennis, traveling and spending time with his wife and family.
