Cordell Berge is Managing Director of Acquisitions Northwest, Inc. (ANI).
Over the span of nearly four decades, Cordell Berge and ANI have built a reputation within the Northwest business community for providing the expertise, judgment and a keen sense of the merger and acquisitions market that clients expect.
The firm has compiled an impressive record of successfully consummated lower middle market M&A projects not only in the Northwest but nationally and internationally as well. Typical transaction sizes range from $3 million to $30 million in value. The majority of primarily sell-side projects are manufacturers with the balance being distribution and service companies in a broad range of industries. Outright sales or recapitalizations of privately-held or family-held companies has been ANI’s focus, whereas investment groups or acquirers are mostly strategic acquirers, family offices or private equity groups.
In 2009, Mr. Berge co-founded one of the fastest growing global networks of merger and acquisition organizations, the Alliance of International Corporate Advisors (AICA). During his career in the M&A field, he was President and Chairman (twice) and a board member (10 years) of International M&A Partners (IMAP), one of the largest and oldest global M&A networking associations. He was also a co-founder and past board member of the Portland Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), a co-chair of the Pacific Northwest Financial Conference, a recipient of ACG’s Meritorious Service Award and is Chair of the ACG Cup Northwest business school competitions between leading universities in Washington and Oregon.
Mr. Berge received a BBA from the Lundquist College of Business at the University of Oregon and has served on their advisory board in the past.
